This type of dryer is designed to remove moisture from materials such as powders, granules, and pellets through a two-stage process. The first stage involves the initial drying of the material using hot air or gas, while the second stage uses cooler air or gas to further reduce moisture content and ensure the final product meets specific quality standards.

FLUIDISED BED DRYER works on the principle of Vibrating (Shaking) fluidized bed. The process of Dryer is done being in two stages. • The 1st stage is to handle the material with high moisture (surface moisture). • The second stage it will be doing the balance drying. Required quantity of material to be dried is fed through the feed system into the drying chamber. • A stream of hot air is blown through the layer of wet material bed over the perforated grid plate. The material bed is effectively fluidized by the combination of hot air and vibration. • The material is dried in one pass and it comes out from the opposite end. • After passing through a cyclone system which separates the floating particles and drop them back into the material bed for further drying. • The spent air form the dry end is taken to cyclone outside the drying chamber to collect the dust tea and fiber which will be almost dried.
